| Classical Ballet & Pointe |

Dancers will learn ballet terminology and develop principles of correct
body alignment, coordination, balance, strength, flexibility, and
movement articulation. Pointe work begins upon individual
student
readiness, no earlier than Grade 3.

Dress Code: Black
leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Ballet skirts are
optional for division two (D2), D3, and D4 classes. No
T-shirts
allowed. (Do not purchase pointe shoes until given written
permission and instructions from the instructor)
Hair
Requirements: Long
hair must be pulled back neatly in a bun for ballet or lyrical classes,
or a ponytail for hip-hop, jazz, or tap classes. Short hair
should be pinned back with clips.
