DENISE WILLIAMSON is a native Texan, raised in Friendswood. For the past 18 years, Denise has studied dance in ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, modern, and hip hop. She graduated Cum Laude from Sam Houston State University in musical theatre and dance. She was an apprentice in the Houston Met Dance Center Company. She also studied Fosse and other dance principals at Broadway Theatre Project in Florida for 3 years. Among her teachers were Ann Reinking, Ben Vereen, and the late Gregory Hines. After performing many musicals in high school and college, Denise performed as one of the Silly Girls in “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST” at Theatre Under the Stars in Houston. Denise has taught for Dance Expressions for 6 years. |
