| Samantha Camarillo |

Samantha Camarillo grew up dancing in her hometown of McKinney, Texas. While training under
the direction of Suzan Taylor at Taylor Dance Center, she began performing and competing
earning various awards and recognitions for both her dancing and choreography. Continuing her
education in dance, Samantha graduated from Southern Methodist University in May, 2007 with
a BFA in Dance Performance, as well as a minor in Psychology.
Professionally, Samantha is a member of Interweave Dance Theatre, the residential company of
the Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop, that meets every summer to train and perform. She also recently
started her first year with the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company as an apprentice.
Samantha has moved from Dallas to be in Houston, but misses her family
who supports her with
unconditional love while she pursues all of her dreams. Samantha
teaches for Houston area studios and is excited to join the Dance
Expressions staff.
