Main Policies 2012-13

The costume fees for recital are approximately $90.00 per class.  The fee includes tights, but does not include shoes.  A deposit of $50 per costume is due on November 15^th and the balance is due February 15^th.  Costume fee payment is not automatically charged on your credit card and must be paid in a separate payment.  Costume deposits must be paid before your costume will be ordered, and the balance must be paid before your costume is received. All costume fees paid are non-refundable.

If for any reason you must discontinue classes, you must supply the office with written notice before the 1^st of the month to avoid billing and/or automatic charges for that month’s tuition.  Notification may be in the form of a letter dropped off or mailed, completing our drop form, or with an email to the studio at carey@danceexpressions.net.  You will be responsible for all tuition and fees until notification is received so please look for confirmation of receipt.  There is no pro-rating or refund for unused classes.

Dance Expressions, LLC reserves the right to remove any student or family from a class or the school for any reason deemed appropriate at the discretion of the Director, Jennifer Smith.

Classes are billed at monthly rates that include holidays. The monthly rate is the same regardless of attendance. Missed classes are not pro-rated or refunded for illness, inclement weather, holidays or any other reason.  Students may make an appointment at the front desk to attend an appropriate make-up class within 30 days of the missed class.

All fees (registration, tuition, costumes, etc) paid are non-refundable.  Free trial classes are available, but the registration fee must be received to reserve a spot in the class. NOTE: Tuition for one week in June will be $15 per dancer billed in June. This amount is subject to change.                                                                                          

Dance Expressions, LLC has a required Dress Code to attend classes. You will receive a copy of dress requirements upon registration. 

Dance Expressions, LLC communicates about upcoming events and deadlines via monthly newsletter.  It is your responsibility to read the newsletter that is e-mailed each month.  If you are missing the newsletter for that month, please see the front desk. Class memos and other important information will also be e-mailed.                                                                

If you make a payment with a check and for any reason it does not go through, the studio will convert the check to an electronic check and automatically add the processing (NSF) fee of $25.

We would like to showcase our students.  Pictures of students in classes, at competition, recital or other special events might be used in print ads, Facebook page, flyers, our website, in the studio, or in other media. I authorize Dance Expressions, LLC to use or display pictures of my student in the studio or in advertisements.
